Amanda's Last Single Night!!!

Formerly known as Amanda Wells, Now Mrs. Eggertson had a celebration in her honor for her final days as a Single Lady! As her MOH, I got the excitement of planning her Bachelorette Party. We had an awesome time in Wendover. Just Mandy, Sarah and I all dolled up for some Gambling, Drinks, Dancing and FUN!!!

A year of Local Trips

This year has been full of local trips so far. It has been so fun and we have been making great memories. In march Chellci and I took a weekend "girls trip" with the little ones. It was Breckan and I, Chellci and Joshua. We went to the Hole in the Rock. We walked through the petting zoo there and fed the animals. Our favorite was Walt the camel. Then we went through Canyonlands and Arches National Park. (It was free national parks weekend and we had to enjoy this gift). It was such a fun "quick trip".

Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell in August with Dustin and Rachel and Rachel's sister, Angie and her Family. We stayed on their house boat and I had a blast. It was my first time ever being to Lake Powell and it was beautiful.
I learned to wakeboard and also knee board. Tyson also learned to knee board. We had such an incredible time.

Utah State fair 2010

Utah's State Fair has come and gone. However, it was a lot of fun for my little man. I took him to the state fair this year, the first one he has been to. Him and I were just nursing a cold, so we didn't ride any rides. But we got to play in the little farm land and eat delicous Carnival food. We walked around for hours looking at the booths and hanging out with Chellci and her family. Chellci, Autumn and I made a cute little music video to Lady Marmalade from Moulin Rouge. It turned out really cute. We had so much fun on our lazy Sunday, just people watching and walking aound. Breckan got a Cute little Monkey Beanie that he can't wait to wear.

We went to the CIRCUS!!! We took Breckan to his 1st Circus, performed by the Ringling Brother's at the Energy Solutions Arena. It was so much fun, and I believe that Breckan thouroughly enjoyed it. He eyes lit up and he watched in amazement as the motorcycles drove in circles in the metal dome. Oohs and Ahhs, cooed from his direction. His fascination with the fire was a little frightening, however. ;)

My favorite part of the circus was the new baby elephant. So cute. As well as the "body benders", and the acrobats.

We went with Sarah, Karie and Ella and it was so fun to share with such great company.

A weight loss update...

Wow.. I have been awful at keeping up with my blog. However, I have been successful in my weight loss journey. I had co-started BFL (Big Fat Losers) with a good friend Savanna and followed that for sometime, but as work, families, school, and schedules started to interfere with the group, our team started to dwindle down to nothing. We ran in the Breast cancer 5K and also met up on Saturdays for walks and runs around Sugarhouse Park. As the team started to grow smaller and the meetings became less frequent, the motivation also began to drop. I knew I needed to do somwthing as my weight just seemed to hover right around where I was stuck. Not much in gains but also Little progress. So with little thought and much excitement I jumped back into Weight Watchers. I have been a member for 11 weeks and have lost 14 pounds, I have received my 5% and 10% marks and I am now working toward goal and ultimately become a lifetime member. Weight watchers has always been so good to me. I have 2 great girls to keep me on track, Wendi & Chellci, who are also on plan with me. It has been so great to feel the difference in my clothes and the encouraging comments that I receieve from loved ones. My next weekly weigh in is this coming Thursday. So in closing I have one request.... Wish me Skinny!

So as many of you know.. i tend to have a weight obsession from time to time. Well i've been having a weightloss crisis since Mr. B was born. Yet, I lack them motivation to stick with these random urges to be fit.

Well this time it is for real!! Meaning that I am motivated and I will accomplish my goal. I long to be fit and healthy and tone. To look great in a bikini next pool season and to feel great. No longer do I want to be winded after walking up 3 flights of stairs.

My son deserves to have a healthy mom that can keep up with him. That won't die early due to heart disease caused by my own inactivity and unhealthy food choices.

Furthermore... I would love to enjoy the sports that my husband loves. We used to go on Rock climbing trips years ago and I could not do a thing. Now it has been years since we have gone but it would nice to know, that in the event that we found a wonderful rock to scramble up, I could hold my own! Hiking... i used to love hiking. Now I fear I will be winded on the slightest incline I come upon.

NO MORE EXCUSES...

I have joined and hopefully helped to grow a wonderful weightloss group called Big Fat Losers (BFL for short). I know. It sounds insulting. It really has a cute story behind it, and when our founder, Savanna, told us how she came up with it, we decided we liked it. And so it stuck.

Savanna is the cutest, kindest, sweetest girl I know. She is SO motivating. I am so glad she asked me to be a part of this group and to have our team cheering me on along the way.

A couple months ago we got a new addition to our family. Chica is a cute little female Mutt-i-gree, that is a little ball of energy. We got her when she was 8 weeks old. However she is now about 4 months.

Breckan is now One as of January 28th. He has grown so much over the past 12 months, and learned so many new things. He has 11 teeth to date. 8 in the front and 3 Molars. At his 12 month check up on Friday, He weighed 24 pound and 14 oz. He is off the charts! He started walking early December, and has a growing vocabulary. The more common words are Ma-Ma, Da-Da, sit, dog, Hi, Zack, was-at (what's that), Del... and a few more I can't recall. He can do so much and it is so fun to watch him learn. He loves to point, clap, do the ba-ba thing with his hand and mouth ( ha ha don't know what to call it), and flip his lips with his finger.

It is so hard to leave to work everyday, but I always look forward to our Fridays together, and Breckan always looks forward to his Lazy Saturdays with Daddy.

Wow.. I have alot of catching up to do, and I promise I will. Let's see.. where to begin?!?! I started a new job. I am the Assistant Manager at Cottonwood Apartments. (A beautiful community, and I LOVE the company). My little man, Breckan, started walking in late December, has been talking for awhile and has 11 teeth, including 2 of his molars. We celebrated his 1st birthday January 28th!

Our family got a new family member, Chica. She is our little "Mutt-i-gree".
Well I think that sums it up... Ha ha. I have tons of pictures to update everyone on what has happened through the months. I will be posting them and any other updates I can think of, throughout the next week.

Breckan is growing so fast and is beginning to get very curious. He loves to be sittin up and watching whats going on and also likes to stand. Because of this I have been wanting to get an Exersaucer or walker or anything to help him learn. After spending lots of time on KSL classifieds, we decided to just go to Walmart and buy him something new (can't be too safe with this Flu crap going around). We ended up getting him the Baby Einstein's Music and Lights Jumparoo, and he LOVES it! At first he just like to watch mom play with the frog that twirls and the rings that move up and down, but he has recently discovered the mirror and loves staring at himself. and liks the linking plastic chain rings also. He has started to"bounce" around in it a little and tries to stand frequently. It is so fun to watch him play and learn. He makes the cutest facial expressions while he concentrates.

This... My very first Mother's Day as a new mom was an amazing day. Not only did I get to spend the day with my family but I got to feel the love of a Mother on this day. I woke up next to my loving husband and baby boy and started to get ready for breakfast with my Sami, My mom and my grandma. And I can downstairs to my little man with a Mother's day present.. Just for me. My wonderful husband also got me a gift and the most perfect card. He knows me well and knows that although I always want to buy scrapbook books and magazines but will never purchase them... So he did it for me.

Breckan is growing so fast, and is becoming the smartest little boy. He is now doing "sit ups" while trying to pull his body up into the sit up position. He is "talking" like crazy and even mimics back the syllables of sentences, like "I love you". He also has developed an "adult laugh" instead of his previous coo of enjoyment. He holds his own bottle, and loves to play in his Exersaucer at grandma's house. I love watching him grow and learn. He is the most amazing baby ever.

For his 3 month birthday, Grandma Shelly had a little celebration for him. They had lots of fun together and he was exhausted by the end of the day from playing so much.

I am so thankful that I was blessed with Breckan, and even more thankful everyday that passes. Being a mother is the most amazing experience and the best feeling anyone could ever have. I never knew it could feel quite this good.

This year Easter was very exciting for me, because it was Breckan's first Easter as well as his first big holiday (Valentine's Day and St. Patty's Day where his actual firsts). So I was so excited to wake up and show him the Easter basket the bunny brought for him. The Bunny didn't hide eggs this year because Tyson was spending the holiday with his mom, so I wasn't able to have that excitement. I swear Nick thought I was crazy talking to Breckan about what the Bunny brought him, but I know that Breckan was excited too... Even if he doesn't quite understand all this holiday stuff.

Yay...the Easter Bunny came.

On March 28th Breckan turned two months. We had his two month visit on April 10th and boy is he a big boy!!! He is 13.9 lbs. and is in the 90 percentile for Height & Weight. He also had to get his his immunizations, so the poor little one had 6 shots. He was such a big boy and only cried for a short time.

In the past few months he has learned tons. He laughs and smiles all day long. He loves to "talk" and play with his favorite keys. He is just a very happy, big boy.

Breckan's a little sick

Well I haven't done well at keeping up with my blog and updating everyone about my little. I want to apologize and will do my best to keep up with it in the future. Little Breckan is growing like crazy and doing well for the most part. However, he has been pretty sick for the last week. We took him to three pediatrician visits and found out my baby boy has RSV. I was terrified when I heard this news, but we have just kept ourselves in quarantine at home and have just been making sure he gets lots of food, rest, and steam... Oh and tons of boogie removal sessions. (which he hates!!!) We had a check up today, to make sure all is well and he has been improving. He had better oxygen levels and clearer breathing, so it seems that he will be in tip top shape in the next week or so! I am so thankful that he was such a strong boy and we were able to take care of our little man in his comfortable home!!! Thanks for everyones care, concern, and loving phone calls and thanks to mom for cooking our dinner, even if you had to leave it at the doorstep!! ;)

When Breckan was born he weighed 8 pounds 6 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.

At his two week appointment he was 8 pounds and 13 oz. and 22 inches long. Which puts him at the 90% for height and 50% for weight. He has had such a healthy appetite and has been growing like crazy!

At three weeks he was weighed and as with the previous visit, he grew more!! Weighing in at 9 pounds and 7.5 oz.

Now at one month he weighs 10 pounds and 1 oz. and is growing into the perfect little man!!!

My little boy is getting so big... and loves bath time. I think he actually just likes the feeling of warm water because he isn't at the age where he plays yet. He just coos as he lays in his baby tub and enjoys being washed by mom and dad. If he isn't laying in his baby tub, then he is enjoying the massage of a warm shower with mom.

My Baby boy is so perfect. I love to just stare at Breckan as much as I can. He's amazing. Even just watching him sleep, he grows and changes so much every minute. I absolutely love being a momma and enjoy every aspect of it. Breckan Alan Gamble finally made his appearance on Wednesday, January 28th @ 7:59 PM. He was 8 pounds 6 Oz. and the most beautiful little piece of perfection, as of now he has dark gray eyes and a head full of Dark brown hair. I have never been so happy and never thought I could feel love quite like I do now. Nick was so amazing at helping me through all the contractions and the birth. He is the most amazing man and I am so happy he will be teaching our boys to be little men. Watching his face as he looks at our new little addition, his love shows. I could just watch him staring at Breckan for hours. It is the most amazing look of adoration. Well I'm going to spend more time with my perfect baby and my amazing husband. I will update everyone more through out the next little bit.

Well Breckan is still snug in my belly!! Nick and I went to the doctor today to see if there had been any progression from last Monday and everything appears to be the same... This little man just doesn't wanna budge! So they sent me to St. Marks to do a fetal stress test and monitor his movements and he seems to be doing GREAT!! SO all is well. Crazy thing is.. according to the machine they hooked us up to.. I was having contractions every 7-10 minutes, although I felt nothing! Anyway... the plan now is to wait and see what happens. I have an appointment for Fri to see if I have dilated to at least a 2. If I have then they can start an induction, if I haven't then we will try to make me dilate (somehow) and schedule an induction for I reach a 2. All this.. Unless of course.. Breckan decides to arrive on is own earlier!!! We can always hope! ;)

I apologize for not keeping up on the blog. I have tons of pictures to post from the past few months, I have just been overwhelmed with getting our home and the nursery, baby ready!!! As most of you know, our little Breckan, is past due! He was due on January 19Th. SO... the countdown begins. He has dropped and everything seems to be moving along...very slowly!! ;) I don't mind, while I'm anxious to meet him, I am fine waiting until he is ready.. Plus he is really easy to take care when he's still attached to me. ;)

Well I promise, I will do better at keeping everyone updated, and will be sure to get the message out when Breckan decides to join us.

SO today is my ABSOLUTE favorite holiday. Always has been. Well I was a little disappointed that I was gonna be so HUGE this year, because at work we pick a theme, and we had chosen Disney Princesses. Now, I know I can find a costume to fit (even if it is Plus size), but I'm not sure how people will feel about a pregnant Snow White. Well, last minute Holly changed the theme to Cowboys and Indians and with help from my mom (she sewed the costume, and some Jewelry making by "moi"...It didn't turn half bad!! Huge baby bump and all! I have been searching for cute nursery ideas for a boy. I have an idea of what I'd like to do, but would like any advice. We would like to do something modern, but I also want it to be comfortable and baby friendly. I wanted to stay away from Baby blue because it is so typical and I;m sure I'll be bombarded with this color at some point of my babies life anyway, so I was thinking of a nice green color. After doing some reading, however, I learned that Blue is actually extremely stimulating for children, and green is good too. SO I think maybe i'll do a good mix of colors. This is a nursery I found and LOVE!!!! If anyone has any input or cute ideas, please let me know. I'd love to hear it.

I say finally for many reasons....

Finally we are in our condo. We moved in the last weekend in June and have been doing repairs and stuff to make it look cute and feel like home.

I am FINALLY Mrs. Gamble! Nick and I had a beautiful wedding on Monday, June 30th. Thank you for everyone who attended and a special thanks for everybody who worked so hard to make it so perfect!!!

And Lastly.... Finally to starting our family. We are so blessed to have Tyson, he is such an amazing, and smart boy. I love spending time with him and am so happy to be giving him a sibling!!! Yes... As most everyone knows now, I am having a baby! We couldn't be happier than we are right now with how perfect life is!!!

Well I have LOADS of pictures to post so as soon as my Internet is connected I will get on it!!

10 days & Counting!!

With weeks of work behind us and so much more to go, I am getting super excited and anxious to move in. We are covered at our townhome in Draper thru the 21st, which is why we are in crunch time!!! We just purchased the Pergo flooring for the kitchen & dining room. It is light Maple. Nick has been correcting all the painting boo-boos and the stairs are "FINALLY" finished, aside from some painting that is desperately needed. I am so excited to have everything completed and done. Just the way we want it, but that will not be for years to come. Tonight I think I'll purchase some flowers and pots to bring some welcoming spirit to our new balcony!! :)

I come from a very large family and am blessed to have 20-30 cousins on the Sanchez side. I am also lucky enough to share my birthday with two of them... Cruz and Jeremy.

Cruz (known as my "Twin cousin") is currently serving his country in New York and Jeremy is living here in Utah.

Cruz was born on the same day as me and is 25... a quarter of a century old (like me)!

Jeremy is celebrating his 28th birthday today!!

Well we received keys to our condo on Friday and have been working in it everyday since. Including the entire holiday day on Monday. This is what we had to begin with and we expect to have a lot done by the time we move in... June 21. Although we will not have all of it done due the huge expenses we will incur fixing it up, we will continue to work on it little by little until we are perfectly happy and have our "dream home" complete. Our current project on the home is our stairs. We have ripped out the bottom of the stairs and made them appear to be "floating" it opened up some dead space and made our huge living room look even bigger. Prior to move in we plan on putting in wood or pergo flooring in the dining room and kitchen, and replacing all the fixtures, switch plates and outlet covers and begin the stone and stainless steel fireplace. So far we have painted and and have been working on the stairs. After we have moved in and have saved up the money we would like to finish pergo throughout and replace carpets in the two small bedrooms. We also plan on replacing or refinishing our cabinets, replacing counter tops and putting in bowl type wash basins, in our bathroom sinks. As well as much, much more ;) I will be putting up pictures to show our progress and keep everyone updated.

As I said before, It is definitely a fixer upper. But all I have to say is... "Lipstick and Rouge"

Exciting News...

Well yesterday I go t the exciting news that the condo is now "our condo!" Yay... It came out of underwriting and all conditions were minor and taken care of in an afternoon, so I was able to close on it at 4:30 and now own the title of "HOMEOWNER" or maybe home debtor in this case. Ha ha... Oh well. I am so excited to make it ours, paint the walls, replace the flooring, and do everything we want with out asking permission. Thanks to everyone who was so supportive in the chapter of our life. Now that we have a home, lets get on with the wedding!! ;)

Blue's New Toy

Blue got a new toy yesterday, which he was so excited and curious about when we brought it inside. Probably because his new toy is a TREADMILL! Most of you who know him, know that he is treadmill trained, but just hearing that he is trained and actually witnessing it are so different. Ha ha he is so funny the way he just wags his tail uncontrollably while doing an eight mile jaunt on the treadmill. ;) He are a couple pics from his first play time with his very own treadmill...

Deodorant Shopping

Tonight we had to make a pit stop, on the way home from my mom's. Nick and I both are in need of deodorant so we stopped at the new Harmon's by our house. Well in the process of deciding what deodorant or anti-perspirant we wanted, Tyson chimed in with... "Dad you should get this one. It says, super super no more stinky armpits. It's the best kind of Odorant..." Ha ha... he is so funny. Then when I asked him what it was called as pulling out my camera, he said... " It works for 60 hundred years so your armpits will never stink again." Sounds like some strong stuff.. Huh? So first thing tomorrow I'm looking for some ad agencies in need of a new advertising slogan. I'm certain it is his calling!!! ;)

Yet another post about our future home... So this weekend we put in another offer on a possible home. We are looking into buying a Murray Condo. It is a 1500 square foot, three bedroom, two bathroom, two level, loft style condo. It is definitely a "fixer-upper" but it has some amazing potential. I am super excited and I am crossing my fingers for the best outcome. The offer was accepted and now we are just waiting for the appraisal and the inspection to pass. SO with all our fingers and toes crossed, and all our hopes and prayers, we are hoping for amazing results!!!

Home Update!

So i have a little updating to do on the home buying. We recently got the sad news that Midvale home appraised for less than what what we offered. So needless to say... Unless they lower the price that will not be our future home.

Currently we are still looking, with positive attitudes! We were really excited about that house, but it apparently wasn't meant to be and our dream home is waiting for us somewhere out there. And we learned the important message... Don't get to excited until the closing paperwork is signed!! ;) So we'll see how this home search goes... In the mean time we are still happily located in our Draper town home!! :)

The whitty world of TYSON...

Tyson is so SMART!!! We have had a blast spending time with him this weekend and he comes up with the most amazing thoughts and cute sayings. Saturday on the way to meet with our mortgage broker, he asked his dad from the back seat...."Dad, where do you love me?" Nick said.."Where?" And he goes.. "Yeah, I love you to Europe! Actually I love you to the Universe. No wait I love you to San Diego and back!!!" Yes we need to work with him on distance a bit, and what is farther, but it was so cute, and we totally understood what he meant. He loves his dad ALOT!!!

Last night Tyson decided he wanted to wrestle with dad. Well wrestling turned into a water fight. One thing I learned quickly, with water fights and Nick... Nick always wins. Tyson has had water fights lots with dad. He throws a cup of water, Nick puts him in the tub with his clothes on. Simple right? Nick didn't move to the shower this time, but Tyson still wasn't very happy...

I know nearly everyone knows how much I love my dog. So I figured why not show him off a little. He's had a rough week. Last weekend when we went to Moab he had to stay with Nick's parents, Which he loved!!! But I think he was a little homesick. He got sunburned from playing out in the sun so much, and now his little nosey is peeling. This weekend we took him to make some friends at the dog park. He had lots of fun and made a few friends, but we left the park early because one of the other dogs had an attitude and wasn't very nice to him. Poor Blue left the Dog park with a few bites . So here is my dedication to the cutest hairy man i know... Blue!!!

The start to a WONDERFUL week!!!

This past week has been wonderful!!! I had a great, WARM weekend in MOAB with my love and our two friends Mike and Brooke. Yesterday I received the awesome news that our offer was accepted for the house, and I got my wedding cake picked out and ordered and it is beautiful!!! All in all it's been a great week. Our home is rambler in Midvale. It is 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on a quarter acre lot, which give us lots of running room for Tyson and Blue. Thanks to all of my friends and family for your informative words and crossed fingers. It must have worked because we are almost able to hold the exciting title of "HOMEOWNERS!"

So I have some news. Last night, Nick and I put in an offer on a house. My first offer to my possible first house...EVER!!! We are pretty excited. It's gonna take a lot of work, but has great potential. In the words of the movie, The War... "Lipstick and Rouge!" Right? I am super excited to have a home of my own. If I want to paint a wall... I can. If I decide to re-do the yard... I can. And if Blue randomly get the urge to dig a whole in the yard... Oh well. It's our yard! ;) Not to mention we can build a tree fort for Tyson. Ohhh... the possibilities! SO wish me luck. They have until today @ 4:00 PM to accept or counter. SO maybe I'll be writing that I am a home owner tomorrow. We can only hope!!!

27 Dresses

Last night was probably the fourth or fifth time my girls met up to finalize the choice of bridesmaids dresses. I told them I had no preference as to what they wore as long as they wore black, since our colors are black and white. After much debate and several dresses later these are the Pretty Pretty Princess dresses that will be worn... These are just the styles, the dresses themselves will be in black and white!

Today at work I received 2 packages, One was Nick's wedding ring. It came in the cutest little double swinging door type ring box. I was so happy with the ring quality, Metal Eternity did an amazing job making it and many thanks goes out to them. It is made of Damascus steel with a inlay of whit gold (the smooth line down the center of the ring). My pictures didn't turn out as well and I would have liked them to, but what can you do?!?!?! ;)

You asked for it... You got it! Here are some pictures of the beautiful ring Nick picked out for me. I was so excited when we got it, I almost started crying. Okay, so I got a little teary eyed.
His ring is currently being custom made by Metal Eternity. We should be receiving it in the next two weeks. :) It is Damascus Steel and white gold. He seemed excited when I told him I purchased it, and needless to say I am excited for him to wear it.

So I was recently turned on to this blog stuff and I am quite excited to start one for myself. I am planning on reporting the new happenings and exciting information and changes in my life to come. So far the only exciting news is... I'm getting married!!! June 30th is the date, and Nick is the amazing man. I have never been happier than I am right now, and I look forward to every day and the new memories we create.
